Dr Claar
Jonathan Claar, DC, DACNB, CFMP
Dr. Claar is a native of western Pennsylvania. While playing collegiate football he witnessed firsthand the difference that chiropractic care can make. He initially injured his low back while weight training and sought the help of the local chiropractic physician. At the same time, he also suffered from debilitating headaches and rotator cuff problems. He was amazed at the relief obtained from all these conditions while under care. It changed his course of study, and lit a desire in him to help others from suffering the way he had. Dr. Claar obtained a bachelor of science degree and graduated from chiropractic school at Sherman College in South Carolina. Has been in private practice in Harrisonburg since 2005. Dr. Claar pursues numerous hours of continuing education every year to stay up to date on the latest treatments available in functional medicine.
Dr. Claar’s interest include functional neurology, functional medicine, spinal disc damage, nutrition, and sports injuries. He has a beautiful wife, Liezel, and 2 wonderful children, Kailyn and Tyler. He loves spending time with them and traveling. He also enjoys Steelers football and his Dutch Belted Cattle.
